2 Timothy 3:16 NLT \u201cAll Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 4 of a 12-part series: Clearly knowing your specific purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look at the power of this verse and of Scripture. I know that Scripture seems to be a bunch of stories, poems, and advice that may or may not be helpful but this is just the enemies way of trying to get you not to read the Scriptures when you are trying to deal with a specific question or a specific problem. The Scriptures are uniquely written with My inspiration in them and so as you read them and seek Me in them you will find Me. Words may jump out from the page\u2026you may find that I have you \u201cbump into\u201d various verses that seem to be saying the same thing\u2026you may simply know in your spirit that I am communicating with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Allow the Scriptures to teach and correct. I know it makes no sense that books written so long ago will be living and active but it is!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hebrews 4:12 NLT \u201cFor the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scripture will come alive and be powerful when you recognize it is alive and powerful and you seek its guidance. Not just general guidance, which it has a lot of, but specific guidance. It exposes your innermost thoughts and desires\u2026the very things that need to b exposed for you to know your specific purpose in this world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don\u2019t have to read chapter upon chapter. Even open the Word and allow 1 verse to wash over you. Read it a few times and let Me deepen its meaning. If you have a question for Me, ask the question and then read any verse that you are on and allow Me to speak through it. I do miraculous things. I can do this too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe this is a message to us from God, written from His perspective \u2013 Sherri<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n
