Luke 4:40 NLT \u201cNo matter what their diseases were, the touch of his (Jesus) hand healed everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do you believe that I still heal?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Are you willing to step out in faith in order to find out how?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everywhere you turn these days people in the healing community say a couple of things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I would like to challenge these beliefs with this verse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This verse makes it very clear that Jesus healed people immediately and completely. It also makes it clear that He healed all the people who were brought to Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How He did the healing varied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next verse talks about how many of the people were possessed by demons and He cast them out, not allowing them to speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do you believe in demons? Do you believe that many (if not all) ills of this world are due to demons and their attempts to insight you to sin?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Believe in what I say, truly believe what I say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The people in this town believed that Jesus healed and they brought all their sick to Him and He healed them all. He did not sit with each of them for hours or have extended prayer time with them for months or years. He healed them. He did not pick and choose who to heal, He healed them all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These two false beliefs in the church are causing a lack of faith, or in some cases a delay in faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bring to Me your sick and allow Me to touch them and I will heal them and show you that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Find someone who believes this and have them touch and pray for you or your sick and believe that I will heal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John 6:29 ESV \u201cJesus answered them, \u201cThis is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Be careful of your lack of belief, it causes the very thing you believe\u2026that I don\u2019t do mighty works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Matthew 13:58 ESV \u201cAnd he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Prayer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lord, I want to believe, help me believe and help me let go of anything that causes me not to fully believe all that you said and did. May Your words and actions come alive in this world and in my life the way they did when you walked on the earth over 2000 years ago.
