Exodus 19:5 NLT \u201cNow if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 3 of a 3-day message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t ask for obedience because I need to be in charge or because I am an authority monger. I ask you to obey Me because I often know much more than you know and am protecting you or guiding you. Just as a parent expects their children to obey for many different reasons, sometimes known to the child and sometimes not, I need My children to obey Me so that they can be set apart as my special treasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you want to be My special treasure?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you want to be My special treasure even if those around you are not? I have invited all of them into the Kingdom but if they choose not to come I respect that but that should not impact your choice with Me. Maybe you are the very key to them coming to know Me. Maybe they need to have someone they know and trust in their midst who is obedient to Me so that they can find safety in exploring who I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By resisting the call that I have on your life because you are afraid that I have not called all of the people you love or all the people in the world, you remove yourself from being part of the solution and you simply remain part of the issue at hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lift up your eyes and see Me and know that I am real. See that I am loving and caring and see that everything that I do has a purpose and meaning and I bring good out of all things. This does not mean that I like everything that is going on but it does mean that I can work with any situation and make it good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not focus on those around you who are dealing with something completely different from what your experience is. It is impossible for you to know what is happening in them\u2026all you can do is seek My presence and My love and knowledge of Me as it pertains to your life. You can not figure it out for other people. Only yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So lay down the resistance and all that you think might be going on and simply go back to the basics. Jesus is here to be in a relationship with you, personally. Open up to that relationship and He will be able to share with you all about what else is going on. But first, put on your own oxygen mask and then you will be able to help others with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you trust Me? Does your heart stir when you read this and you may not trust Me but you want to or you wish you did. I can work with that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give Me permission to reveal Myself to you in ways that are meaningful and then, when they happen, please do not wipe them away as irrelevant or coincidental\u2026they are not. They are chosen and done specifically for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Believe in Me. It\u2019s hard to do but that doesn\u2019t mean it isn\u2019t good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
