1 Corinthians 1:2 NLT \u201cI am writing to God\u2019s church in Corinth, to you who have been called by God to be his own holy people. He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus, just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part 1 of 5 on holiness and spirituality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you want to be holy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does it mean?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It means to be called to Me by Me and for Me. This is true holiness. Is that what you want?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you do, look deeply at this verse today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have been called to be My holy people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you hear this what kind of physical, emotional, and spiritual experience do you have? Does that bring excitement, concern, deep hunger and thirst, or something else? Be honest with yourself, it is important that we are honest with each other. I don\u2019t want to force you into something you don\u2019t want. Do you want to be My own holy people?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If so, you can rest assured that you are holy, not by your own strength or might but by the means of Christ Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Call on the name of Jesus Christ. He is the one who makes you holy\u2026but only do it if  you want to be holy. I take it very seriously when you say that you want to be holy. I take it very seriously when you call on the name of Jesus Christ. Let it be what you want before you call on His name and believe on Him over all else in this world. He is here to help you on this journey of spirituality and holiness, but it is important to know that this world does not always align with holiness and so you sometimes have to choose which you will seek out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, I want you to choose holiness, but I don\u2019t want you to do it out of obligation. I want you to do it because it is truly what you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe this is a message to us from God, written from His perspective \u2013 Sherri<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n
