Have you ever seen a Cherubim?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve seen lots of angels throughout my life but the thought of seeing a Cherubim hadn\u2019t even crossed my mind, in fact I didn\u2019t really even know what a Cherubim was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was sitting outside of church, just taking a moment to really experience what I had just experienced with Jesus in church and all the sudden I could see the two angels who are normally with me and then there was another angelic being in between them which was so glorious and amazing it took my breath away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How to describe it\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The thing I first noticed was how incredibly humbled I was. I realized, very powerfully, that any ego, any pride, any thought that I could offer God anything of value was simply wasted time and energy because I had nothing to give and yet, I was of great value to this being and to God. It was a very strange combination of exaltation and humility all at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I saw wings behind and in front and didn\u2019t really understand how that was possible. They were so white, beautiful, and lush and I was powerfully impressed by the awe and glory of this being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It had me look up to its \u201cface\u201d and I could very clearly see the image of an eagle. This image was so clear, and I could \u201cfeel\u201d it as I looked at it. Then I saw another image of what looked like an ox, another of a man and a fourth of a lion. I sat in the presence of this being and of the two angels for a few minutes and then it was time to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later that day I did some research on spiritual beings with an eagle head and discovered Ezekiel 10:14 which described amazingly well the being that I saw, including wings that went behind and in front of it. The vision began to make more sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God has not revealed fully why He has shown me a Cherubim except that the Cherubim stand in the presence of God directly above them and so the Cherubim is a way for God to reveal His powerful glory without it completely overtaking us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
