Zephaniah 3:9 NLT \u201cThen I will purify the speech of all people, so that everyone can worship the LORD together.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine what would have happened if, at the tower of Babbel everyone had stopped trying to make a name for themselves and, instead, turned to Me in one speech and worshipped Me, recognizing Me as the very thing they sought by building the tower to themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You become like that which you worship. They worshipped their own strength and power being able to raise a tower to the heavens. I have made human beings to be powerful and mighty. After all, you are made in My image. This is why I say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Genesis 11:6 ESV \u201cAnd nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When nations are unified, all of the same language, they are able to accomplish all that they desire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine the nations of the world being unified in one language and that language being used to glorify Me rather than themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ironic thing is that because you become like that which you worship, if you worship buildings and cars and houses and money you become like that \u2013 inanimate objects that are not made in My image. However, if you worship Me then you become more like Me\u2026powerful, all knowing, omniscient, omnipotent, mighty to save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you humble yourself for a moment and worship Me you will find that you will be exalted beyond what you could ever imagine (2 Peter 5:6) but the exaltation will not be of the things that glorify you, they will be the things that truly satisfy and fill you up\u2026My glory, My power, My majesty, My righteousness, My holiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you ever stand in a crowd and see the incredible focus on the wrong thing. The focus itself is not what is wrong, but the perceived benefit of what you are focusing on. A crowd of people seeking fun and entertainment and they are all drinking to excess, eating foods that should not be eaten, and worshipping whomever they are there to see. These are a large group of My image bearers choosing to worship something they desire to be, which will not satisfy them even if they were to get there. They drink to numb the disappointments of their own lives. They eat to oblivion because then they don\u2019t have to feel the disappointment of having laid down their life to worship things of this world instead of Me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn now at this moment and turn aside from all that you desire to be for the wrong reasons. Turn to Me instead and see that I am right here with you, right now giving you all that you desire. Humble yourself for just long enough to rid yourself of all the false desires of your heart. Wake up and stop numbing yourself with food, substances, \u201cfun\u201d, and media that never satisfies but only allows you to block out what is available to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn to Me and worship Me, if even for a moment, and you will find that you, instantaneously, become more like the person you desire to be. You desire to be more like Me because you are made in My image. Being like Me will satisfy your deepest desires and your deepest cravings so worship Me and become more like Me right at this moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe this is a message to us from God, written from His perspective \u2013 Sherri<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n
