John 3:17 ESV “For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.”
I find it very ironic the things people assume about Me. They think I am ultimately:
- Judgmental: yet I say
Matthew 7:1 ESV “judge not, that you be not judged.”
I made you in My image (Genesis 1:26) and want you to be like Me. Why would I tell you I am judgmental and tell you not to judge?
- Stingy: yet I say
2 Corinthians 9:7 ESV “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
Again, I ask you to do as I am. Give cheerfully and not reluctantly or out of obligation, as I do. I am generous.
John 10:10 ESV “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
- Eager to punish and send people to hell. But I say
John 3:16 NLT “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”
And
Romans 10:13 ESV “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Many people believe I require so much of them but look how easy it is to be saved. Believe in Me or call on My name. It is so simple. I have made it as straightforward as possible.
- Full of hate and wrath: yet I say the primary commandments are to love Me and love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:30-31). I even ask you to love your enemy! (Matthew 5:44) Why would I do that If I am primarily hatred, condemnation, and wrath. I AM love (1John 4:8)
My beloved, for a brief period of time, maybe a week, maybe a day, maybe just a moment if that is what you can handle…put down everything you have ever been told or taught about Me and believe these things.
I am love – I love you more than you know.
I am generous – I want you to have all of what is best for you. If it is best for you not to have something I give you that. If it is best to have something I give it to you.
I am for you and not against you. Just as you love and encourage your offspring, so do I also love and encourage My offspring. If you did not have loving and encouraging parents, come to Me and I will show you what it is like. Don’t walk away from Me, expecting Me to be like them and missing out on the greatest love.
Believe these things above all else and see what happens. You can always go back to what others have said about Me if you don’t like what happens when you believe what I say about myself.
