Genesis 5:17 NLT “Cain had sexual relations with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Then Cain founded a city, which he named Enoch, after his son.”
Yes, it is always strange when I pick verses like this but it illustrates a point that I want to make really clearly. Enoch enjoyed his wife, it brought life into this world and then he wants to show the importance of his son by naming a city after him.
You can see the love being expressed in this verse if you look closely for it. First between Enoch and his wife, then by the joy they experience when they discovered they were going to have a child and then, after the child is born, they want to commemorate and exalt him and so Enoch, from love, and also to continue the importance of his bloodline, names the city after him.
Imagine how it is for Me. I imagine you in my “mind” and then let you “roll around” in My “thoughts” for many, many years, enjoying the idea of you and perfecting all the details. When the time is right I give your parents an experience that is spiritual, emotional, and physical and bring the spiritual and physical together in order to bring you from my “mind” and into this physical world. You are conceived and begin to take on the form that I intended when I “thought” you into existence. All throughout this process you are basted in My loving “thoughts”, you are being shared spiritually within Me and within your parents. You are completely and totally conceived from a place of love, joy, and excitement in My “mind”, knowing that I will get to experience you in the physical someday and also I will get to (hopefully) spend all eternity with you if you choose to be with Me.
There is tension each time I create someone. The tension of My deep desire to experience you in “reality” and not just in My “mind”. I want to be able to love you tangibly and for many, many years and I want you to receive the incredible blessings I want to give you, both of Myself and also of this world. And each time I take a risk. There is a chance that you will reject Me and I will have to experience the loss of you. It is a deep and painful loss steeped in mourning and grief and it is incredibly painful each time it happens.
This is the risk I take each time I “think” and “conceive” a person in My “mind”. It is a huge risk. Help Me please! I don’t want to lose another child. I don’t want to mourn the loss of a single soul who doesn’t know Me. Come close to Me and make sure you are safely in My arms where I can love you the way that I intended to love you – with you loving Me back. It is SO satisfying!
Come to Me, even right now, and let Me wrap My arms around you and bring you “home” to Me.
As a side point for anyone who was born from a less than ideal situation where your parents were not married when you were conceived, or there was any time of control, forced relations, or anything other than love, or anyone who was given away from their birth parents after birth…please know this very powerfully. I know that you have wondered about your origins, about your value, about your worth. I know you have thought there is something that is “wrong” with you potentially that can never be reversed. Know that the love that I have for you is so much more powerful than any of that. There is a lot of inner healing work that goes on pre-conception and conception to birth and know that all of it is based on the truth that My love for you supersedes ANY experience on this earth. It is like My love is the entire ocean on the earth and the lack of love that may have been experienced with your conception is like a single drop of water that is put into the ocean. It is so miniscule that, once it is in the ocean, you will NEVER see it again. You can focus on trying to find the drop of water or you can focus on the beauty and majesty of the ocean. I recommend letting the drop of water melt into the love of the “ocean” that I Am and let go of any concern you have of your lack of anything. There is a general feeling of humans of not being enough. That is not true. You are enough. You don’t have to look for reasons why you are “not enough”. It is simply not true, it is a lie from the enemy, and it is not true. You were enough long before you were ever conceived physically. You were so much more than enough in My “mind” and in My “thoughts” and so I just had to bring you into this physical realm so that I could have the deep pleasure of knowing you personally, with you having your free will so that you could surprise Me sometimes by a smile, or laughter, or a realization of something as you learn it and find joy in the learning.
I love you so much that it outweighs anything that could ever be wrong! My love covers all sins (1 Peter 4:8), casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and brings you deep and close into My heart!
Come, love Me back and experience the fullness of the cycle of love that exists for you, right now!
