Acts 2:27 ESV “For you will not leave my soul among the dead or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave”
This is David speaking before he even knew anything about Jesus. Isn’t this incredible? Imagine being David, now in eternity, and realizing you had prophesied about Jesus as you wrote and sang your songs to Me.
But think more about the faith that he had as he wrote this. He knew that he would not remain dead after his physical death. He also knew that I would not leave Jesus in the grave.
Does this make you wonder what you have available to you in your daily life and communication with Me? As you spend time with Me, I love to share the mysteries of the world with you. Sometimes they are hard for human beings to believe and it requires faith but I would love to share more with you if you would like me to.
Jeremiah 33:3 ESV “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”
Take Me up on this. Call to Me and then
Psalm 81:10 ESV “I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.”
This has multiple nuances – it means that I will take care of you but it also means that I will fill your mouth with words with great wisdom and meaning if you will let Me.
I am more involved than you might think. I do not do things instantly the way the world wants things done instantly these days and so you may not realize all that I am doing, or your faith may waver before I share the mysteries with you and then it feels like I have not done anything. Slow your roll…and experience more of Me. Life doesn’t have to go as fast as it is going. I will take care of you even if you are not racing to keep up!
