Joel 3:21 ESV “I will avenge their blood, blood I have not avenged, for the Lord dwells in Zion.”
In Joel 3:20 you see that I fully plan for Judah to be exalted and I will avenge their blood. This is a hard concept for many people but it is so important to understand My heart in what is happening. I want the world to know that I am good and available to every single person. And yet, it is important that people recognize that when you oppose Me and My people, bad things will, eventually, happen. I don’t bring consequences into existence right away sometimes because I want to allow plenty of time for people’s hearts to change and grow toward Me. But that does not change that when people do not believe in Me, follow Me and honor My people, their lives will simply not go the way they want them to. Their eternity will not go the way they want them too.
I know this is really hard because so many people have friends and family that oppose Me and they don’t want anything bad to happen to them but let’s look at it from a different perspective.
The perspective that allows you to enjoy the life you have and yet live alongside people who do not follow Me without judgement and condemnation is to simply receive the blessing that is underlying this verse.
You are My chosen people. You are highly exalted and I love to bless you. I will avenge you from your enemies. I will uphold You with My mighty right hand (Isaiah 41:10). I dwell in you! I am with you right now. I am with you wherever you go. I am right there with you.
I know every single person in the world and I want them to participate in the fullness of this verse. Let’s not look at it as punishing or condemning them..instead, let’s look at it as blessing you.
Many people have a hard time with this concept and receiving this blessing. Can you simply receive the truth that you are blessed because you know Me. You are more blessed than anyone who does not know Me simply because that is the way it is. It doesn’t speak poorly of them – I am taking care of each and every person in this world – but it does exalt you.
Let Me exalt you and draw you closer to Me. Let Me live within you and give you all the blessings and benefits that come along with knowing Me. Let Me bless you and avenge you from your enemies. You don’t have to worry about it. I will take care of it for you.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You so much for choosing me and writing my name in heaven (Luke 10:20). Thank You for avenging anything that needs to be avenged for me. Thank You for loving me so deeply and dearly and living within me so I am never alone. I receive the fullness of your love and your blessing now and I receive Your full protection and vengeance on my behalf…knowing that you love every single person in the world and know how to balance all of the questions that are in my head around how this all works. I love being exalted in the kingdom and love that you are my God.
