Psalm 123:1-2 NRSV “To you I lift up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the heavens! As the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God until he has mercy upon us.”
Lift your eyes to Me. Oh, life your eyes to Me and see great and mighty things that you have not yet seen. Look up from the day-to-day striving and figuring out where to go and what to do. Know that what you need, I provide. Know that what you seek in this world will fade away but I will be eternal. Lift up your eyes to Me.
Humble yourself and recognize that you are the servant and the maid and yet that I am different from any other master because I choose to exalt those who humble themselves to Me. It is in the humbling of oneself that you let go of the fullness of your humanness and become the fullness of the divine through My exaltation.
This is a great mystery!
I want you to want what you want. I want you to experience the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). I want you to ask, seek and knock (Matthew 7:7). I want you to be really clear on what you actually want, because I know that when you search far and near, deep and wide, across the world and back, you will discover that what you truly want is Me.
So, search, ask, seek and find what you truly want. I am right here before you. Lift your eyes unto Me and find what you truly seek and desire. I am right here. Let go of all else, without walking away from all else, and find Me right where you are. Find Me in your day-to-day tasks, and in the things that feel like they encumber you. I will give you freedom and wisdom. I will show you the way.
Lift your eyes unto Me. I am right here and you will be able to see Me!
