Luke 22:69 ESV “But from now on the Son of Man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”
Consider this for a moment…do you need power in your life? Do you have a situation that requires a great deal of power and authority?
Jesus is seated at My right hand and He is here to help you through the Holy Spirit.
We designed it to work this way.
Do you see us as powerful? Do you see Jesus as powerful? Do you actually believe that He will help you with whatever situation you are dealing with? He is seated, because of His great and mighty sacrifice, at My right hand and He did this specifically because He wants to share His life, power, and authority with you.
Yes, it looks very different from how the world thinks power and authority may look but do not mistake that for anything other than power. Just because Jesus allows people to struggle and suffer…for the purpose of bringing them closer to you and blessing you with more abundance than you can ask or imagine…people mistake this for a lack of power but it is not. My power is enough to create an entire universe.
Rather than looking at all the downsides of following Jesus, really look at the upsides of following Him. The very power you need in order to thrive in this world are found in Him.
