Exodus 19:2 NLT “After breaking camp at Rephidim, they came to the wilderness of Sinai and set up camp there at the base of Mount Sinai.”
Day 1 of a 3-day message:
Remember how I tell you to pay attention to the events and the times? This is an important time to do this.
Many people are having a hard time praying for My goodness and My restoration because they believe that we are at the end of time. This is a dangerous place to be for human beings, just as the base of Mount Sinai was a dangerous place to be because of what was about to happen:
Exodus 19:18 ESV “All of Mount Sinai was covered with smoke because the LORD had descended on it in the form of fire. The smoke billowed into the sky like smoke from a brick kiln, and the whole mountain shook violently.”
It feels like it is the end of the world and yet, it has felt that way for many generations since Jesus was on the earth. Do not fall into the trap of not praying, for you are to pray against evil, you are to bless those who curse you and you are to bless those who love Me also.
Moses walked up into a mountain that was on fire with smoke and it was shaking. That sounds like the end of the world doesn’t it? Walk into the Presence without fear. Approach My throne confidently (Hebrews 4:16) even if you think it feels like the end of the world. I am the only one who knows the date and time (Matthew 24:36). Be careful not to put yourself in My place and decide that the end of the world is, or should be, now.
Instead, continue to pray for restoration and blessing. Love Me, love yourself and love your neighbors and love your enemies (Mark 12:30-31, Matthew 5:44). This is the best thing that you can do right now.
