Psalm 118:24 ESV “This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Life is not as serious as we make it out to be. It starts, there is a lot that happens in the middle, My hope is that you find Jesus and choose to follow Him as you navigate this world and its ups and downs…its celebrations and its tragedies…and then there is an end to life.
It is really that simple.
It is not about proving yourself, being something extraordinary so that you will be remembered for years to come or even amassing as much stuff as possible throughout your life so that you can pass it along to the next people. There is nothing wrong with those things per se, if they do not get you off track in this world from knowing Jesus and living a life well.
Each day is a day that I have made. There will be a lot that is bothersome in the day both for you and for those around you but it is possible to simply recognize it as a gift from Me and rejoice and be glad in it. This is A LOT easier if you live life close to Me.
Why?
Because My joy is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
In my presence there is fullness of joy, and at My right hand there is great pleasure (Psalm 16:11).
In My refuge you are protected (Psalm 91).
Yes, there are times that you stay close to Me and life remains difficult but, in general, you will find that when you stay close to Me your life is much more satisfying and complete.
This is the only thing you need to know for today:
- I made today and I invite you to be full of joy and be glad.
- Stay close to Me!
