Acts 13:41 NLT “Look, you mockers, be amazed and die! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it.”
Such strong words, and even in this translation. Why do I use such strong words sometimes? Could it be because I have offered everything to the people of the world and they continue not to see what I am showing them? They continue to doubt Me because I do things differently than they want or expect.
Don’t fall into this trap. Believe what I tell you!
Believe that I will provide.
Believe that I have always provided. Don’t look to the few examples of lack of provision and tell Me that I do not provide. You don’t know their story, and you don’t know the series of events that led them to where they were.
I allow people to have the life they want if that is what they want and what they ask for repeatedly. I allowed the Israelites to have a king because that is what they wanted. I allowed them to be exiled to foreign countries because they desired their own nation to be run like other nations and to have gods like other gods. I did not punish them with these things, instead, I gave them what they wanted until they figured out it is not what they wanted and then they asked for Me to save them…and I did.
What other god would do that for its people?
What other god would set out specific commandments for the people to follow so that they can be in good standing with the god and be in line what was true? I gave the 10 commandments, not to restrict or hold people back but to give freedom. I say, “do these 10 things and you will live a really good life, find greater happiness because you do them, and find the freedom you desire”. What other god does that?
I could go on but for right now simply know that I am doing a great and mighty thing in the world. All that is happening is not random, it is not punishment, it is giving people what they have asked for. Ask for something different and I will give it to you!
