John 8:22 ESV “So the Jews said, “Will he kill himself, since he says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?”
It is humorous to me how often people try to figure out the ways of God without seeking My help in the matter. If the Jews had simply listened to what Jesus was saying…and believed Him…they would have known exactly what Jesus meant by this statement.
Take a lesson from this please.
When I tell you something or when I indicate something, or when you read the Scriptures and hear the strange and wonderful things I will do…do not try to figure them out entirely on your own. Instead, search the Scriptures. Listen to what I have already told you and piece it together and seek My Holy Spirit to find out more.
Yes, it is My duty to hide mysteries and for you to search them out (Proverbs 25:2), but I do not ask you to search them out on your own. Instead, I ask you to search them out with Me, with My help, with My Holy Spirit.
Do you know that I am speaking to you in many ways every single day. I don’t ever go quiet as some people say that I do. When people say that I am quiet it is normally that I have already spoken something that they are not ready to hear or they are choosing not to listen because they are allowing their own free will to supersede My Will. This is not always the case. Sometimes I am teaching them a new way to hear Me and they are having a hard time adjusting.
But…I am NEVER quiet. I am ALWAYS there guiding you and speaking to you. Listen to Me and search out the mysteries of this world. Sometimes what I speak about is different than what you are asking about but they all fit together because you are a part of My plan. When I speak about a “general” plan, I am actually speaking about your plan also. Listen to Me in the way that I speak to you – through an inkling, through your spirit, through your mind, though your heart, by circumstance, through the signposts I put on your path each and ever day. There isn’t a single day that goes by where I do not put signposts out for you. Search for them and you will find them.
I love you and want to interact with you every day.
Open your hearts and minds to Me so that you will be able to understand the strange and mighty things that Jesus says to you each and every day just as He spoke to the Jews when He was walking on the earth. But, instead of questioning Him, believe Him and seek out what He means.
John 6:29 ESV “Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
This is what I mean by this verse. Don’t only believe that I exist, that I sent My Son to save you, and you will have eternal life. Also, believe what He tells you each and every day of your lives. Believe in Me. Believe I will take care of you and do not worry. Believe that when you make Me your refuge and your strength, I will protect you just like I say I will in Psalm 91. It may look very different than you expect but I will always protect you!
Prayer:
Lord, I am so grateful that You are always speaking to me and sharing your mysteries and secrets with me. Thank you!
Please help me believe.
I want to know as much as I possibly can while I am here on the earth. Please help me learn about You and Your ways in my life and in the life of the being in the Kingdom while here on earth. May my thoughts and attention be on You rather than on myself today so that I may see Your larger plan that is at work around me…that I am a part of.
