1 Corinthians 14:2 ESV “For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit.”
Do you speak to Me in tongues? You are trusting Me with the very words of your spirit, calling out to Me the mysteries of the Kingdom.
When you pray, regardless of whether it is in tongues or in your native language, allow My words to flow through you so that we may pray My will on earth as it is in heaven. Allow My words to flow through you. It isn’t hard at all; it is simply a letting go of your own thoughts and powers of persuasion. It is being willing to lay down your needs knowing that I know all of them and am holding you and all of your concerns very carefully in My hands (Matthew 6:8).
I love to hear you speak to Me. It is like having your child come to you for a chat, simply sharing themselves with you and enjoying spending time with you. It doesn’t matter if you are just talking to Me about the day, or whether you are asking Me for help with something. I simply enjoy talking with you and listening to you. I love you so dearly that I enjoy all of the time you give to Me. It means so much to Me. Thank you for this time right now. I am here with you and I love to bless you!
Enjoy your day, I am here with you and will take care of every aspect of it for you. If you want to speak in tongues and utter mysteries in the Spirit, please do. If you want to sit in silence with Me, please do. If you want to call out to Me with your needs, please do. I love when you talk to Me….even in your silence.
