John 16:3 BSB “They will do these things because they have not known the Father or Me.”
Knowing Me, really knowing Me is such an essential thing in this world. Yes, so many who are reading this want other to know Me but do not focus on other people. Focus on yourself instead.
Do you know Me?
Do you know who I truly am?
Do you know what I am truly interested in and why I do the things that I do?
Do you know My motivations?
You are here reading this and I am so pleased! Thank You for seeking Me out and seeking out My thoughts and My words. It makes a huge difference to Me and to the Kingdom of Heaven when you truly seek Me and truly know Me.
What is one thing that you know to be true about Me?
I am good.
I am very good.
I am love….always.
I am never selfish or self-absorbed.
I never do anything out of spite or anger.
I listen to your prayers.
I want what you want.
I want to know what you want.
Tell Me. What do you want? What do you truly want?
I know you want to do what I want you to do. I know this about you.
But what do you want. This is what we want together.
If you truly want it from the depth of your soul, then it cannot be bad. If you want it because you can’t have something else and it is your backup plan, then it is not what you truly want.
I know that I emphasize this a lot when you listen to Me…what do you want. I know this doesn’t always make sense because you think it is more important for you to know what I want.
But…it is important for you to know who I am and to believe in Me (John 3:16, John 16:9) and to ask for what you want so that I can give you that or something better (Matthew 7:7, Matthew 7:9).
Take the risk. Believe in Me and all that I am and ask for what you want.
It is when My people do not know Me and do not know what they want that the terrible things of religion happen. It is when things like persecution for My sake happen, meaning, people think they are doing something for Me, but they are actually acting against Me.
Today, do not let there be any distance between us due to beliefs and questions of whether I love you or want the very thing that you want for yourself and for those around you. Come to Me and know how important you are to Me. You are so important to Me! Ask and let Me show you the way!
