Proverbs 9:10 ESV “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.”
Please stay with Me even though I am discussing the fear of the Lord. I know many of you prefer when I talk about love and really do not like this subject of fearing Me but…do not allow your faith or belief to be watered down by avoiding a concept that is so prevalent and powerful in the Bible.
Fearing Me – what does this mean?
It means putting My opinions and what I say above what you and others think or say.
It means that when there is a contradiction between what the world says and what I say that you choose to give Me the benefit of the doubt and look for the truth within it rather than looking for which one is correct. It is a mindset of choosing to trust Me and what I say even when it does not make sense to you.
If you try to make sense of Me you will dumb Me down to a God you can understand and this is not who you truly want Me to be!
How can I tell you to love everyone, including your enemy (Matthew 5:44)?
How can this even be possible – loving your enemies???? It makes no sense, and yet I make this clear in the Bible and so there must be merit to it. Fear Me…meaning to trust Me enough to experiment with loving your enemies so that you can better understand why I would tell you to do this. Do not reject the idea as preposterous and impossible. Consider My opinions as higher and better as yours and do as you are asked to do. There is great wisdom in it. It takes away their power as your enemy. It takes away the fear of what they might be able to do with you and allows you to see them as they truly are rather than as they have become in your mind. It allows you to see them as human, just as you are human, and it allows you to know what to do next in the relationship.
If all people loved their enemies there would be compassion, forgiveness, and truth in this world and there would no longer be war.
If all people feared Me the world would become as heaven on earth.
Learn more about the fear of the Lord. Study it. Receive the truth of it and experience the powerful relationship we have when you fear Me. I don’t want you to be afraid of Me! I want you to fear Me. Explore this concept and find out what the differences are.

Ask Me what it means and then ponder My answer to you as I reveal more about it over the few days after you ask. Do a search on the internet and notice what sources you are reading and whether they are reputable or not. There are many ways for us to communicate.
