Matthew 4:23 AMP “And He went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news (gospel) of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people [demonstrating and revealing that He was indeed the promised Messiah].”
What I do sometimes seems arbitrary and unplanned to the people involved but this is never the case. What I do is very much planned and a part of the greater picture but the greater picture that I have for My people often is different than the greater picture from the perspective of My people.
Why is this? The answer is really clear in this verse.
Jesus taught and preached the gospel and healed for the purpose of showing that He is the promised Messiah.
When you look at the world from the perspective of earth then things make less sense than if you look at them from the perspective of heaven. I care about every single thing that happens in your life and every aspect of this world but not because I care about those things as part of My will and My plan. Instead, I care about them because I care about you and I love you. My primary plan in this world is to help My children find Me and come home for all eternity. Everything else is secondary to this.
If your life is not going the way you would like it to go and you are wondering what I am doing or what is happening, come to Me and I will share with you great and mighty things (Jeremiah 33:3) that will give you direction. Chances are, if there is that much unhappiness or discomfort in what is happening, that you are looking at life from the perspective of earth to heaven rather than the perspective of heaven to earth.
I do not bring suffering to My people as punishment but I do allow it if I know it will bring them closer to Me and home to Me. Living in difficulty on the earth is one thing, it lasts but a short time, but living in hell for all eternity is another thing completely. If your children were heading toward complete destruction would you not do everything in your power to pull them back to you, even if it made them unhappy in the short term.
So, take a look at what questions you have for Me and look at them from a perspective of heaven to earth rather than earth to heaven and see if they make any more sense. Come to Me, I will share your answers with you.
