Isaiah 48:3, 5, 6, 10-11, 12 ESV “Long ago I told you what was going to happen. Then suddenly I took action, and all my predictions came true. I told you beforehand what I was going to do. Now I will tell you new things, secrets you have not yet heard. I have refined you in the furnace of suffering. I will rescue you for my sake – yes, for my own sake. I alone am God, the First and the Last.”
Day 7 of a 10-day mini-series
Oh, My dear children.
I have shared many great and mighty things with you (Jeremiah 33:3). I tell you in advance so that you will recognize Me when I do the things I say I will do. Then I tell you new things. I know there has been a lot of suffering. I know that being pruned is painful when it happens. I know that being refined in the fire is painful and there has been a great refining in the fire. This is why so many are walking away from Me and yet so many are returning. Many are offended that I would take away all the empty things that seem to have so much meaning to them and things they have put at the center of their lives, and yet, I don’t want you to be distracted by anything at all that will keep you from Me and so I allow the refining fire and the suffering to show you that these things are meaningless.
I know this sounds selfish, but I rescue you for My sake. I do all that I do so that we can be together for all eternity without the suffering and the hardship. Please, stay with me and trust Me and I will get you through all that you need to get through. Do not submit to the lies of the enemy that sound so sweet to start but are laced with poison. Keep strong in the very thing you know is true, whether it looks the way you want or not…stay true to Me and come to Me. My ways are good and righteous and true. They are so much more fun and enjoyable than anything else in the world. The world will lie and say they have all the answers, but they don’t. I do. You know that. Stop resisting and let Me even more fully into your life and heart. I know many of you are reading this now ask how it is possible to trust Me even more or to let Me into your hearts even more than you already do but it is always possible to go higher and deeper into the Kingdom!
Simply say this “God, I know and believe that you are God. You are the first and the last and everything in between and I trust You.” And now let your life sit upon those words of wisdom.
