John 3:6 NLT “Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.”
Day 10 of a 10-day mini-series
This verse is a culmination of all that I have spoken during this 10-day series. It is by laying down your life that you get to become more than you can become by holding onto your life. You ask for more and more and more because I designed human beings to want more than they can achieve on their own…this is how they learn to look beyond themselves and find Me.
You think you want possessions, jobs, happiness, houses, cars, someone to love, everything to be perfect because I have put in you the desire for so much more. When you gain all these things you discover they are never enough to satisfy you…not even close…because I am the only one that will ever satisfy.
As I said yesterday, fix your eyes on Jesus.
Today I say….the Holy Spirit, who Jesus sends to live within you, will give birth to spiritual life.
You are a spiritual being having a physical experience. Therefore, if you attempt to strengthen your physical experience by material possessions you will find that you come up empty but if you attempt to enhance your spiritual experience you will find that you are so much more satisfied than you ever imagined.
The Holy Spirit will help with this.
If you want to level up your relationship with Me, take these simple three steps:
- Know that I am God and there is no other. Lay down your life and pick Mine up.
- Fix your eyes on Jesus and get to know Him the best you possibly can.
- Receive the Holy Spirit within you and be the spiritual being you are.
- Believe, trust, and live the truth that I will take care of and protect you!
