Ephesians 1:5 ESV ‘he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,”
Many wonder how I can select certain people, certain nations, and certain areas of the world to know Me and discard the rest into hell. But they forget the truth of who I am and the love that I have for all My people and all My creation.
It is easy to look at all the verses that make it sound as though I care more about legalities and service and suffering than blessing and love but come to Me and know Me as I truly am and you will discover the amazing kindness and mercy that I have for My creation.
In today’s verse you see the word predestined. In Strong’s you see this means “To foreordain, predetermine, mark out beforehand. to limit in advance, i.e. predetermine.”
And then in Romans you see:
Romans 10:13 ESV “For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”
Please trust Me that My desire for all My children to be saved is even stronger than your desire for this very thing and know that My Will will be done on earth as it is in heaven ()
This verse is also really important:
Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.’”
This does not mean you should neglect the calling and path I have for you while you are in the world. There is evil and brokenness in the world and you want to be in My refuge, My protection, My Will, My love because that is where your life will be the best it can possibly be. The focus on eternal life is great and yet the focus on being with Me now is the start of eternal life so…start now and seek Me and My presence continually (1 Chronicles 16:11). You will be so glad that you did!
