Psalm 29:11 ESV “May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace!”
The amazing thing about knowing Me is that when you know Me you know so much more than just Me…you know things that you could not know otherwise. It takes a little while to get used to knowing what you don’t know and trusting it but…come to Me and I will show you the way. Simply trust that it is true.
So many people believe that when you become a Christian you have to give up everything fun, get serious, and expect to have less money than you had before you were a Christian. They look at all the saints and all the people who are dedicated to Me and they see poverty, suffering, martyrs, evangelists who sacrifice their lives, and many other things they would consider negative. They assume they have to live a life that will be lacking all the things they enjoy.
But this is not true. When you become a Christian, the desire for certain things may decrease and you may simply not want them any longer but it is not a requirement in order to know and serve Me. The main requirement, which everything else falls into line around, is to love Me.
Just love Me and let Me take care of the rest.
