Jeremiah 29:11 ESV “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
This verse pairs so well with yesterday’s verse. This verse shows My deep care and love for you. I have plans for you and they are really good plans. I want you to have a future and a hope. This is very important to Me.
Do not look at all the negatives of life when lived with Me. Life of sacrifice and lack. This is a misnomer in Christianity. Life is not about sacrifice and lack it is about love and abundance. It is about knowing Me in a way that brings knowledge, peace, love, faith, and a great love for this world and the people in it.
Knowing Me is not about religion and it is not the thing that is going to ruin your life and take away all the fun. Knowing Me is how you learn what you really care about and what you don’t. Many people find that things that really mattered to them before simply don’t any longer. They discover a change in their perspective on life and many things shift because of this. From the outside this may look like lack and yet from the inside it looks like freedom. Freedom from all the things that no longer satisfy (and never satisfied) in order to simply be available to know and to love Me. For many it is the opposite. They find Me adding things into their lives that they never imagined. They find that things they used to be unable to do are now possible.
Come to Me, you will find it different than you ever imagined. See trusting Me as a pathway to peace rather than as a pathway to lack! Don’t buy into the general Christian principles of lack, difficulty, suffering, and toil. If that is what I ask of you it will give you great joy! If that is not what I ask of you it is not what you wanted anyway.
