Acts 3:16 ESV “Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.”
Do you remember that when Jesus was on earth He was not able to heal many in his hometown due to lack of faith (Matthew 13:58)?
Which comes first, believing that I will do that which you most desire or seeing that I am doing it and then you believe. Only the first option truly works. Yes, it feels like you are being irresponsible, selfish, Pollyannaish and yet, I put the seed of faith within you simply need to believe it is there and let it grow without stomping on it every time it begins to sprout.
Let the faith within you arise. Water it, feed it, nurture it.
Romans 10:17 ESV “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
The word of God is like a lamp unto your feet (Psalm 119:105).
If you truly want to transform your entire life do this one thing. Read the word more, whether it makes sense to you or not, whether you understand what you are reading or not…read it and listen to those who preach it who stir up inside of you the very transformation you seek.
Do not give up. My love for you is so great and I put it in every single word of the Bible. Do as the wise people did in the parables and sell all that you have and buy the pearl of great price or the piece of land with great value (Matthew 13:44-45).
If you feel yourself resisting this then fight that resistance and simply read, knowing that I am the one who is interpreting and doing the work within you, not yourself. It may not make any sense, but it works every single time. Trust Me!
