Romans 12:14 ESV “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.”
Oh My dear children. I ask so much of you while you are here on earth because it strengthens you and gives you the resolve needed to truly make an eternal difference.
This is a really hard verse when you are actually being persecuted or when people are attacking you or coming after you. It’s an easy verse when none of these things are happening. I ask you to live differently in this world so that more and more people can know Me and learn to be like Me. I ask you to forgive over and over (Matthew 18:22). I ask you not to judge (Matthew 7:1) and I ask you to leave vengeance to Me (Deuteronomy 32:35). Why? Because all of these require My strength for you to accomplish and they increase your faith and strength in believing in Me, not just that I exist but that I am good and that I bless you in every way…even when you do not feel like it is a blessing.
When you thank Me for the worst thing in your life you take away the power of the devil. The devil wants these things to cause you to curse Me, doubt Me, and make you wonder about Me. When you thank Me, praise Me, and love Me the power and sting of all the things in this world that are up against you begin to crumble.
It is so hard to do these things. Forgive, bless those who persecute you, leave vengeance to Me, thank Me in all things (1 Thessalonians 5:18). They require My strength, which causes you to fulfill another verse in the Bible.
1 Chronicles 16:11 ESV “Seek the LORD and his strength; seek his presence continually!”
When you live the way you are asked to live – in trust and not fear, loving all (Mark 12:30-31) including your enemies (Luke 6:35) putting Me first and foremost in your life (Deuteronomy 5:7) – you are living by My strength through My Holy Spirit by the power of Jesus and His gift to you.
Know that when you do these things you please Me greatly and you invoke all types of blessings in the Kingdom. Of course, you do them out of loving and following Me but the side effect is My blessing.
2 Chronicles 16:9 ESV “For the eyes of the LORD run to and from thoughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.”
The only way you can do these things is if your heart is blameless toward Me and because you recognize that I have fully forgiven you and, because of that, you are able to forgive others, love them, and leave everything to Me. Because of this I give you strong support. Of course, I give you strong support so that you can do these things which then builds more strong support from Me and a pattern is developed.
Start here – simply ask Me for My strength to do the things that seem impossible in your life. That gets everything started. That is what “primes the pump”. Then, simply focus on loving Me with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and the rest will unfold naturally.
