2 Timothy 4:5 NLT “But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.”
Day 6 of a 12-part series: Clearly knowing your specific purpose.
We are getting more and more toward the specific purpose you have in this world. I know that many feel it will be something they need to accomplish while they are here and that is true for some but, in general, the entire purpose of your existence is to show people the unique and powerful way that I exist. When people look at you, they have no choice but to see Jesus because Jesus lives within you. When you walk into a room, Jesus walks in the room. When you pray for someone who doesn’t have anyone else praying for them you bring great spiritual power into their lives.
Most of the things you do on a daily basis are a conduit for what is truly going on. What is truly going on? A battle for every single person’s soul for all eternity. I know this sounds like something that is secondary because you have so many things to deal with today. I know it sounds like too much pressure and too much to think about. I know that it is easy to think that pastors and people in the church who are specially gifted by Me are the ones handling this aspect of the world but this is not true. Jesus lives in you if you have asked Him to live in you and so you are part of the army that I will use to save every single soul who wants to be saved. There are so many people who want to be in My Kingdom but have no idea how to find the Kingdom or have been so hurt that they don’t even know the Kingdom is a safe place to be. You can reach these people. You don’t have to preach to these people all you have to do is love them…I will take care of the rest.
I am not asking you to go all Christian on everyone around you and share the gospel in meetings or in school or wherever you find yourself each day. If I am asking that of you, you will know it. What I am asking is for you to live the Scriptures. Love Me. Love people. Love and pray for your enemies. Do not let little offenses get in the way of loving people. These are the things that really impact people.
So many times healing and deliverance happens simply because someone showed great love to a person and they felt Me for the first time in their life. Don’t try to change people. Simply love them and I will show you and them the rest of what is needed for them.
