Psalm 111:1 NLT “Praise the LORD! I will thank the LORD with all my heart as I meet with his godly people.”
Even when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death you do not need to be afraid, because I am with you and My rod and staff comfort you (Psalm 23). You do not need to do so much on your own. I am with you. You never have to fight satan or this world alone – I am with you.
Any time you need an answer, take a moment and seek Me – I am with you.
Any time you feel disconnected, sad, or afraid – feel My presence – I am with you.
When life feels like too much to handle. When the news is too much to bear, feel My presence in the room and in your heart. I am with you.
As you read this now – I am with you.
When you have no strength to praise or thank Me – I am with you.
Now, consider what this means for you.
I am all powerful (Job 42:2 (read Job 38-41 for more detail and demonstration of what this truly means.
I am the ultimate creative (Genesis 1-2)
I am generous and love generosity (Mt 6:33, 2 Corinthians 9:7)
I am your vindicator (Romans 12:19)
I am pure love (1 John 4:8)
I am the solution to all fear (1 John 4:18)
I am in charge of the visible and the invisible (Colossians 1:16)
Are you beginning to understand?
You want a life filled with all these attributes…love, creativity, generosity, protection, My involvement and My power, but you manage every aspect of your life so carefully there is no place for Me to show up. You have it all under control – why do you need Me? But what you have is not what you want (James 4:3). Make a point of leaving room for Me to be God in your day today and then you will experience Me. Take a moment now…experience Me in the room with you now. Feel My presence or know that I am there. Connect with Me and believe all these things I have shared with you….and if praise and thanks naturally arise from within you then let them flow – whether you are alone, around Godly people, or surrounded by ungodly people or evil. I am there with you. Right now!
