Genesis 19:18 ESV “And Lot said to them, “Oh no, my lords.”
This is when Lot is telling the angels who are trying to save his life what he would rather do instead of what they are telling him to do.
Please, take this advice, when angels come to you to warn you of impending crisis from heaven and they let you know My plans so that you can be saved, please do not argue! Lot ends up asking to go to a city and I allow that and then he ends up doing what I ask of him in the first place. This is normally what happens and I work with My children and I give them a lot of patience but…please, believe that we know what we are doing.
It is like when Jesus offers to wash Peter’s feet and he says:
John 13:8 ESV “Peter said to Him, ‘You shall never wash my feet’”
And then he tells me that I should wash all of him
John 13:9 ESV “Simon Peter said to him, ‘Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!”
I know that Peter is trying to process all that is happening but please keep in mind that all of this comes from a place of believing that you know better than I do and it comes from a place of religious behavior, fear, or ego. None of which are healthy.
Please know that I love you dearly and I want what is best for you. Please know this so fully that when I ask something of you, you do it quickly and as I ask…not because I have to be obeyed in order to satisfy My ego, but because I know what is to come and sometimes I just need you to do something without questioning Me.
This is very important in challenging circumstances, and many people have endured great hardship and even death because they have questioned Me or questioned what I am saying. Do not be like them. Instead, be like Mary, Jesus’ mother who had no idea how I would accomplish what I said I would do in her life but she said:
Luke 1:38 ESV “And Mary said, ‘Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.’”
Look at the incredible trust she has in Me by saying this. This is partly why she was chosen to be them mother of Jesus, because I knew she would be faithful and trust Me, which was essential as she raised My son.
I really do know what I am doing!
I really know what is best for you!
I really want what is best for you!
I really appreciate it when you are obedient and do what I ask of you even if you understand it.
So many people are telling Me constantly how impossible life is right now. There is a solution to this…do as I ask. Seek My direction. Know that what I am saying is best for you and
Luke 1:37 ESV “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
The greatness inside of you wants to come out so badly. It is impossible for you to do what is inside of you to accomplish without Me. With Me, it is possible.
Trust Me so completely that you don’t even know why you are doing what you are doing, and yet, do it willingly and without objection (Proverbs 3:5). I promise you your life will go better if you do this and you will discover you enjoy walking in the impossible.
I will find ways to communicate with you. Tune your eyes and ears to Me by seeking Me through My word and through My guidance and you are sure to hear Me and know what I am saying to you. Prioritize Me over other things that are less important and you will discover a new life that you have always dreamed about.
Take a step closer to Me. I will be there to catch you if you fall…because I love you!
