March 3 – Daily Message – Isaiah 54:5-6

Isaiah 54:5-6 ESV “For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. For the Lord has called you like a wife deserted and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when she is cast off, says your God.”

Rejoice!

I have called you to Me.

This message is a continuation from yesterday’s message about shame. I encourage you to read it first because this will make more sense.

Continuing where we left off yesterday take a look at the verse of today…

I am your maker and I am your husband. I am the Holy One, and I am your redeemer. I have called you, not because of the wonderful things you have done, and I am very proud of you for the wonderful things you have done, but I have called you even if you haven’t done anything at all. I called you from the moment of your birth, even before you could do anything for Me at all.

When you feel shame it is often times because you are believing what someone else says about you rather than what I say about you but look at this verse. I am great and mighty and I am all knowing. In addition I  know all about YOU and all that you have done. I have called you even if you are like a wife cast off, even if you are deserted and alone. I have called you.

Rejoice!

I have called you to Me.

It is time to believe what I say about you rather than what others say about you.

It is time for you to know how much I love you and to live your life that way, not worried about what others will think about you or say about you. What they do or say does not actually matter. If it is good we will work it to your advantage. If it is not good we will work it to your advantage (Romans 8:28). Either way, it does not matter. Forgive them, stop dwelling on what they said about you or even what they currently say about you. Treat Me the way I deserve to be treated – with your utmost respect and belief. Believe Me, don’t believe them. I am your vindicator! (Psalm 37:6) I am the one who blesses you (2 Chronicles 16:9). I am the one who takes care of every need (Matthew 6:33).

I know there may be many things getting in the way of you believing all these things. You may still believe that I am not as good as I say I am. You may wonder why I am so harsh sometimes against evil ones. You may wonder if I will send people to hell. You may wonder all sorts of things based on what you have heard other people say but do this for Me. Listen to My words over theirs. I am God and I know a lot more than they do. I also get it right regardless of what life situation I am in, they do not. So, come to Me and believe Me over anyone else and you will find that what I say is true, especially about you.

I love you dearly. You are My beloved child and I want nothing more than to spend all eternity with you after spending all of your lifetime here on earth with you. This is how you will experience your best life…with Me, not doubting or questioning but wrestling when you need to wrestle and we will work it all out together.
