Numbers 23:19 ESV “God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?”
Do you believe what I promise you?
Over the next few days I will point out some things that get in the way of your prayers being answered and you will learn how to come to Me more powerfully than you currently do. Are you ready for the journey?
It starts with knowing that this verse today is true. I do not ever tell you something and then pull it back and act like it is your fault that it did not happen. I simply don’t do that, even though so many people actively teach that I do. It is from their own brokenness that they teach these things. It is from their disappointments and their downfalls and they are trying to convince themselves that they did not fail and bring tragedy upon themselves.
What are your favorite promises in the Bible?
Are they promises of My loving you no matter what? (John 3:16)
Are they promises of My healing? (Luke 4:40)
Are they promises of mountains being moved? (Mark 11:23)
Are they the promises of My bringing good from everything? (Romans 8:28)
Are they the promises of My blessing you? (2 Chronicles 16:9)
Here is the key though –
1 Chronicles 16:9 ESV “Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works!”
Do you focus on what I have not done or do you focus on what I have done?
Do you wonder if I will follow through on My promises or do you assume that I won’t?
Who has taught you to believe this about Me? Forgive them and move on into the truth of My blessings.
What experiences have you had that cause you to question Me? Come to Me and let us heal these so that you can walk in the truth. I can heal any situation and any pain that you deal with…come to Me and I will heal you.
Believe Me at My word. Read My words in the Bible and actually believe them without explaining them away or picking the hardest passages to wrestle through first. Start with the ones that talk about singing to Me and praising Me and worshipping Me…not because I need this but because when you do, your heart and mind and body all change and it is easier for you to believe what is said in the rest of the Bible.
Trust Me as we explore some of the most fun things that happen in the Bible over the next few days. They are powerful, scary, and they show you the God you really want to be following!
