Galatians 5:1 ESV “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.”
What does freedom look like to you?
I’ll share with you what it looks like for Me….
Love
Unconditional love.
Why is this?
Because when you realize how much you are loved and that you are loved NO MATTER what you do you find freedom.
Yes, you find freedom from sin and from death but it is more than that. You find freedom from striving, performing, seeking that which will never satisfy, and even freedom from love that is anything less than perfect, unadulterated, unconditional love.
So, as you walk through your day today, consider this.
I love you.
When you feel down or lonely, know this.
I love you.
When you desperately seek something to change in your life know that the change may or may not satisfy as much as you desire but that My love for you will satisfy everything.
You really do not need nearly as much as you think you do…what you really seek and desire is unconditional love that FEELS and is EXPERIENCED as love. Love that you don’t have to talk yourself into or wonder if it is truly love but love that permeates you from the top of your head to the bottom of your soul. That is what you want and it is available.
Yes, seek all that you need, but first, seek the Kingdom of God because that is truly what you desire.
Worship is not about praising Me and glorifying Me for My sake… it is actually a way to open up the receptors in yourself to My love while giving yourself over to Me in the love that you have for Me. My love flows into you and it naturally cycles to worship of Me because worship expresses your love for Me.
For freedom Christ has set you free…you are free…receive My love, you can’t earn it or do anything to make me love you any more or less…just receive it.
