1 John 1:6 ESV “whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.”
In this three day series I will show you how to flip your relationship with Me completely upside down so that you can life the way that you truly want to live.
When people read the verse from today they immediately believe they need to focus on walking in the same way that I walk but this is not accurate! What is accurate is that if you abide in Me you will find yourself walking in the same way in which I walk.
Your focus is on abiding in Me…not in walking the same way I walked.
If you attempt to walk the way that I walk you will fail. It is not possible for a human being to be just like Me, even though the Bible clearly shares that it is what you desire.
Move your focus off of yourself and onto Me. This is what I ask of you when I say
Romans 12:1 ESV “..present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God,”
It takes a lot of faith and trust to give yourself over to me as a living sacrifice and it is a very beneficial thing to do if you would like to do this and experience what it means to walk the ways that I walk.
