Isaiah 45 18 NLT “For the LORD is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. ‘I am the LORD,’ he says, ‘and there is no other.’”
If you keep reading to the next verse you discover that I want to share all that you want to know. All the questions you have, all the things you wonder about, everything that you wish you could ask Me and I would share with you…I want to share these answers with you.
Did you ever notice that when people ask Jesus a question He answers the question that is much more relevant at that moment instead of the question they ask Him. Take a look at the story of the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:1-42) or Nicodemus’ encounter with Jesus late at night (John 3:1-21). This is sometimes why when you ask Me a question and get a response you are not sure it is from Me…I am answering the question that is most relevant at that moment and maybe not exactly the question you asked. I listen to your heart, your soul, your spirit and your words and I answer the question that is really there and then I also answer the question that I wish you would ask.
Your perspective is from earth to heaven. Mine is from heaven to earth. When I answer questions I am trying to help you see from My perspective because it is an eternal perspective. Your perspective is temporary as the earth will fade away and will be replaced by the new heaven and the new earth.
Do not see Me as a distant God who wants you to guess everything. That is not at all accurate. Instead, see me from the light of today’s verse. I made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. I don’t want you to live in a place of chaos, I want you to live in a place of rest, life, and peace…in My presence.
Isaiah 45:19 NLT “I publicly proclaim bold promises, I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner. I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me if I could not be found. I, the LORD, speak only what is true and declare only what is right.”
Do all that you can to hear Me. Listen to those who you know I put words in their mouths.
Isaiah 55:6 NLT “Seek the LORD while you can find him.”
I am right here – look for Me, seek Me with all that you have! Put your resources toward finding Me rather than toward finding things of this earth that will never satisfy you!
Isaiah 55:3 NLT “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life.”
If you have questions, if you aren’t able to hear yourself, then go to people who can hear Me and then reward them generously beyond generosity. I have put people in this world to help you seek, find, and hear Me. Do not reject them and dishonor them with your doubts and worries about whether they hear Me accurately or not. Honor them with your words and your resources so that I may be glorified.
You people have been wary of and against My prophets from the beginning of time. Stop it and listen to the people I have sent. Yes, discern and test the spirits to make sure they are of Me – the enemy wants to share things with you that are not from Me and make you believe that they are. You want to be careful of this but…preachers, stop preaching against prophecy. Church leaders, stop being afraid of My messengers. Welcome them, test the words they give you, but then give them a place in your teaching and in your lives so that you may hear the very specific and detailed words that I am giving to you. You are too busy to hear Me as fully as My prophets are able to hear Me. You hear Me, yes, you do, and the prophets can accentuate and give more full detail to what you are hearing. The wise kings or the Hebrew Scriptures (the Old Testament) knew to seek out the advice from My prophets. David heard Me clearly and yet he sought the counsel of Nathan. Who is your Nathan?
1 Thessalonians 5:19-21 ESV “Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good.”
If you want to do great and mighty things in this world for the Kingdom know that I am sharing everything with you. Some will come to you directly but if you really want your mission and purpose in life to be full and complete then seek the counsel of a prophet. You will know who to seek guidance from as you read this. And then give them what they deserve. They are not here to provide My words to you and then starve. They are here to center their lives completely around Me so that when you come to them they will be able to hear Me accurately. Support them and their ministry. It is essential!
I am here to answer all of your questions. Seek Me out in every way you possibly can and then be generous with yourself and with others and you will find that the abundance of this world that I promise will fill you in every way!
I am the LORD and there is no other!
